Our field conference was great! It was a bit different this year because of budget cuts, but thanks to a gift from someone, we were able to hold it in our usual hotel. We were challenged by segments of Paul’s life in Acts, took care of some field business, and just enjoyed being together.

Last year, when the team from Franklin came to Burkina, they were touched by a little crippled girl that they had met. After they left, they sent us her picture, and asked us to find her. They wanted to pay for her to have an operation to get her legs straightened.

The activities at the youth camp were varied. The youth spent time being spiritually challenged by their leaders. They also played soccer, took care of business, and did evangelism.

The team woke up EARLY to go the the zoo. Only like someone said, it wasn’t really a zoo. I mean — they pet the hyena (I thought we weren’t supposed to do that!), fed the hippos and got real close to the Tiger.
